Omaha Parks is adding Maintenance District 9 to help keep our city more current. Carter Lake Park is adding a big new area but Maintenance needs some help as they get their area put together. Some trees are coming out and a road is going in. Before the road is put in, there is an area that needs the plastic bags and any other debris picked up before it gets shredded! Are we up for the job? Absolutely! Parks will be collaborating with us, which is important. Not accessible, kiddos okay with adults. Supplies provided! The trees are not thick and navigation fairly flat. Sturdy shoes would be a must. Take Carter Blvd off of Abbott Drive by the airport. Go to Carter Lake shore N.
